Acer Aspire 3811TZ and Aspire 3811TZG

Acer Aspire 3811TZ and Aspire 3811TZG are the expanded outputs of “green” Timeline notebooks and are approved by Greenpeace as eco – friendly notebook units. Why so? Because it was proved that these units are free of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and BFR (brominated flame retardants), which promises a healthy environment.

The new Aspires are also designed to cut energy use, both notebook is believed to cut up to 40 percent of the energy consumption of traditional notebooks. It uses an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV processor and LED backlight LCD display. Plus, these notebooks comes with a up to 4GB of RAM, up to 500GB hard drive, a 13.3 inch display with 1366×768 resolution, Wi-Fi, card reader, web camera, Gigabit LAN, and HDMI port.

Meanwhile, Acer claims that the units are designed in recyclable materials so that they will be easily recycled. With more modular parts than in traditional notebooks, users can also extend the life of the Apires by replacing certain components. These two are indeed eco – friendly gizmos.
